Our April social event was so much fun. Club members and guests met up at “La
This event was initially organized as a taco
crawl where participants sampled tacos from various restaurants along 3rd Ave Chula
Vista. However, when everyone arrived at La Nacional the food and conversation was just
too good to stop, and everyone was having so much fun, so the “crawl” ended there. The
participants sampled birria and ribeye tacos, flautas, and carne asada fries along with a
diverse selection of drinks.
The club tries to organize a social event every month so that we can get to know our fellow
toastmasters and guests a little bit better in a less formal setting. A good mix of newer and
more seasoned toastmasters along with some guests attended the event. Overall, it was a
fun evening full of discovery and laughter. We will look forward to our next social in May.
